If you wanted to potentially do 2 majors, how would you go about doing this?

In this scenario, i want to do 2 majors which are:
  • Financial Planning and
  • Accounting
Can you just elect to do these 2 majors?
Do you have to apply?
How long will it potentially take to complete the 2 majors?

Thank you.

it will depend on the uni and the way you structure your degree. to be a financial planner you have to be asic qualified. therefore you will need to get a rg 146 i think its called.

and then you get a certfied financial planning (cfp) qualification.

Yes i understand the CFP thing.

But i am still unsure as to how i would go about doing both majors?
Would i still do a Bachelor of commerce? And do 2 majors?

Yeah you'd do a BCom or a BBus or whatever, and just pick the subjects needed to do both majors

Oh okay.
So i pick what subjects i want to do?

Could someone give me a commerce example.
Cause i thought you choose commerce (or whatever) and you choose 1 major and 1 minor and thats it?
Bit of a noob.
