*this is what i got trained for* :p

Ok, basically a B Arts is a general degree which has NO cores, and is ideal for use as a stepping stone into other degrees or as a general degree with a specialisation/major into a specific area.

You can basically major in anything whilst in a B Arts (except Law, Chiro, and other specialist degrees/areas) and have access to anything not requiring enrolment in a specific degree as a pre-requisite. This means you have a plethora of choices to either sus out what you want to end up in, or to specialise in humanities-related subjects.

It would really help to find out what exactly is your area of interest, and what you plan to do post-first year.

If you have any queries you can PM me and i'll talk to you via msn if that suits you better.

Asylum, MJ, myself and a few others were trained by MQ to push this degree on the open day, but they don't pay us to push it on BoS, so here's what they told us...

Downside: Typical Job prospects: Clerical, Administration, Sales.

Upside: Awesome degree to get to know what you want to do at uni, though; you've got the pick of 90% of the uni (other 'professional' things that Asylum didn't mention are Law and Psychology, and 95% of business units)... but it depends what you want to do with your degree. You can change out of the degree, too, to something you've discovered is your cup of tea, as long as you get good results in your first year.

The other upside is, you can always combine Arts with something which might have better job prospects. ;)
