Are you watching the British or American version? British is better.
Basically, a whole bunch of kids get marooned on an island during World War II, I think. Their plane crashes, the p[ilot dies, there are no adults. They attempt to set up some sense of civilised society, but this fails as one of the boys mutinies and takes most of the older boys with him to a different part of the island.
Slowly but surely, all of the boys drift away to the mutineer's party, until all but one is left (Piggy dies, Simon dies earlier). They are all about to kill him when they are rescued by adults, who think the kids were just playing a game or something.
What's the question and when is it due? I did LOTF last year, maybe I can help.
