Lenz's Law/Eddy Currents (1 Viewer)

Can someone please explain to me Lenz's law and Eddy currents. I sort of know what they are, but do not fully udnerstand Lenz's law and hence are having trouble with Eddy currents.

The major problem I have is that I can't work out how to find the direction of force usign Lenz's law when say a metal plate is removed from a magnetic field; or to know which direction Eddy currents will go etc.

go read magneting braking it will seriously help with ua understanding of lenz's law and direction of force. [use Jacaranda Physics]
