i began studying a BArts this year at macquarie - i'm a mature age student who applied directly to the university through the jubilee scheme. because of health reasons i'm more than likely going to have to cease studying for the time being - what do i do?

the handbook mentions a 'leave of absence' - is this what i'm after? who do i contact?

I would go talk to the counsellor before you do anything, just to see if theres anything you can sort out. They can help you out greatly on deciding what to do, and who to speak with.
