ok can sum1 in plain english PLEASE tell me the difference between:
- natural law
- natural justice
- the doctrine of justice AND
- the rule of law

ARGHHHHHHH CONFUSION....................... examples of each will also be very helpful :)

Rule of Law- basically two concepts 1-the law must be known and 2- the law must be applied equally to everyone.

Doctrine of justice- two main concepts 1- defendent has the right to be heard and 2- judge must be impartial and fair

Natural justcie- see doctrine of justice (same thing)

Natural law- Law that is basically 'right' ie, god given law, morality laws (sorry thats not a good definition)

To add further to the rule of law.

-Must be known,
-Must be equally applied

You must also mention (and this is the main reason for the rule of law):

-No one is above the law;
-An independent judiciary;
-Laws are prospective, not reterospective;
-The Doctrine of Natural Judtice
