Hi, Im having a LOT of trouble finding good informations on interpretations of king lear. Does anyone have any notes of some really good notes on nahum tates interpretation and the family psychological interpretation?

Also how many interpretations do you have to know? Will two be enough?

two will be enough if you know them in enough detail. im using tate, but im not putting a lot in about him. just the context, revisionism, (18th critics, neoclassicism, changes made to the text.

i would do a feminist reading my i heard that some teachers might take an offense to it

They can't "take offence" to anything like that. If teacher's let personal bias in their marking it ruins the point of the HSC. Plus, a feminist interpretation is a completely acceptable interpretation. It looks at feminism as positive and negative. They cant bias against it.
