Well, I did talk about the possible:
iBooks
PowerBooks
that I was going to buy next year - so that's Apple (Mac) related
I'm a big fan of the AirPort (extreme) as well, but it doesn't compare to a Netgear 802.11g access point in terms of bang for buck.
I'll support Apple now
And also, I'm always talking about my iBook or Pbook anyway on the IT stuff forum, so I'm not a MS-fanboy McLake

Displays, displays, displays!
I love the Widescreen 17" LCD, on the 17" iMac.
17" Studio Display - $1299
20" Cinema Display - $2399
23" Cinema HD Display - $3499
JUST for the displays (monitors, screens) themselves!
The Pbook/iBook screens are good too, except when something like THIS happens!
The new pbooks may have defective LCD screens (too much pressure being applied to the back of the liquid matrix/screen)

Alright guys i dont want any PC vs Mac debate, its gonna get up into heat, both sides has its good aspects alright, i like both of it, PC for its flexibility, and wide range of software, Macs for its aesthetic side.

That, or you can buy the top of the range Pbook and use it for 5 years, without even touching the hardware/insides.

Yeah, it's a little bit childish, but with 640MB RAM, OS X 10.3 (Panther) and all the neat Apple apps (I need to find iChat buddies
) -- then it's a good, sturdy, all round laptop for uni use.But naturally, if I was given the choice between Pbook or iBook, the Pbook is a definate winner, because of it's design, colour, and most importantly, higher end-specs, backlit (fibre optic) lighting and other niceties, that the iBook does not have.
