just wondering if every topic listed here (http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/syllabus_hsc/informationtechb_03_index.html) can be tested in the HSC:

Maintain system integrity
Communicate in the workplace
Access the internet
Design organisational documents using computing packages
Apply Occupational Health and Safety procedures
Administer network peripherals
Determine client computing problems and action
Integrate commercial computing packages
Maintain equipment and consumables
Record client support requirements
Apply problem-solving techniques to achieve organisation goals
Operate computer hardware
Operate computing packages
Participate in a team and individually to achieve organisation goals
Recieve and process oral and written communication
Install software applications
Connect hardware peripherals
Work effectively in an Information Technology environment
Maintain equipment/software inventory
Interact with clients
Identify components of multimedia

...some of them it didnt seem we covered.

The way that it works is that all of the core modules are tested in the Multiple Choice (1-15) and short answer (16- 19)

Questions 20 - 22 are extended response which you choose TWO of those three and answer us much as possible.

These are the questions that draw on your knowledge of both the core and elective subjects that you have studied at (TAFE).

andrew u think teachers booklets off your website for several of the core topics will be enough to cover the whole topic?

No you can draw on other resources but I would say Ive covered 95%

Just wondering how much of the exam if any would have to do with word proccessing and that kinda stuff..
would we need to know about mail merges and all the various how to's realted to word proccessing and formatting and spreadsheats etc.????

yes
