hi guys i am so confused about timetables and stuff like i am sure everyone else is!!! I got offered a place into B information technology which was my second choice behind B information systems, a man i spoke to from maquarie said that i can grab units from B information systems also... So going of that is it possible for me to study the following units from these two courses?

ISYS 123 (B ISYS or B IT)
COMP 115 (B IT)
ACST 101 (B ISYS)
MKTG 101 (B ISYS)

http://handbook.mq.edu.au/programofstudy.php?edition=2006&code=INFT02 (B ISYS)
http://handbook.mq.edu.au/programofstudy.php?edition=2006&code=INFT01 (B IT)

As you can see I have chosen two units from B ISYS and two units from B IT leaving out units such as MATH 135 from B IT... Is this possible or because I only got into B IT I can only do units offered in that course?

any help appreciated cheers...

you can do units outside the required course as long as there isn't any prereqs
