I'm doing music1 right now and coming first or so, and hate it with a passion... + the teacher is a fucken douche-bag

is it music worth keeping?

If you don't like it, then drop it. I'm assuming with your ATAR aim, that losing music isn't going to dramatically affect your marks.

If you love the subject, you can always keep it and teach yourself although i don't know if that's possible as i didn't do music XD

If you're sure you want to drop it, just make sure you use the extra time to work on your other subjects
