Hello this is my first post on BOS

I was wondering if a atar of 85 is hard to get. I would like to go to ADFA and study Aeronautical Engineering. Then go into the raaf for 10 or so years then go and work for a defense contractor. I am year 9 and I'm doing 5.3 maths and getting 60%, English is 50%ish and science I am getting 50%. How ever I am in the top of my year in Commerce. I get 90% in Geography, History and Commerce.

I am probably going to pick these subjects for my HSC.

3 unit Maths
Adv English
Economics
Modern History/Chemistry
Business studies
Physics

Peace

Their will always be a need for aeronautical engineers. As long as their are aircraft.

i know what u are trying to say, but there is currently very little demand for them in Australia, so jobs will most likely be available in USA, europe,

Failed all 3 and got 2 non completion of course notices for commerce and am still expecting >90

Just study hard in Year 12 and you should be good OP. Don't become complacent or the HSC will screw you over

Brush up on your maths as hawkrider said, flick thru your textbook and make sure you're confident in all the topics, do the harder questions at the end of each exercise as well.

Try to improve your essay writing skills and also chem & phys knowledge

You'll get 85 atar ez with no effort at all. Getting 98+ will test you a bit.

Just aim for 99.95 and do all the hard work needed for a .95 and you'll be fine. You'll be guaranteed to land 90+ for sure
