Look at what this guy has done with his Ipod

http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2005/07/07/armoured_ipod/

"After his iPod was crushed to death in his pocket, jammed against the handrail of one of those famously cramped Japanese commuter trains, one enterprising guy has taken protecting his iPod to the extreme: a veritable vault milled from solid aluminium."

Aside from the weight & 'chunkiness' factor, it's a pretty nifty alteration!

To save me making a new thread about Ipod's. Can someone tell me why mine is making ghey sounds whilst it's playing. It has a piano-ish sound in the background for ALL of my songs and pissing me off.

I noticed that unbder Settings> EQ, that there are some things you can do to alter the musical background. I clicked on "off" but the annoying thing still keeps comming back?

A pianoish sound? Like there's an echo? Or like someone's playing a piano?

fu*kin idiot, a PORTABLE music player is designed for PORTABILITY, adding the armour means it is no longer portable for the average person, unless u think lugging around a lump of aluminium is portable.

if he has a problem protecting his IPOD he should use something smaller.

It's still portable, most of them would probably carry it in their bags or pants pockets anyway.

Is that your Ipod or are you just glad to see me.
