I need a question answered that I'm not entirely sure about.
The course prescription gives you the Play names AS WELL as a year.
Does this mean we have to do the research on that PARTICULAR production of the piece?
Or can it be completely hypothetical?

The year is just the publication date of that particular script. It does not refer to a production at all, just that you should use that version of the text. Your directorial vision is what you make up and can be as imaginative as you like.

I chose The Venetian Twins for my text and I'm so torn between the different ways I want to portray it.. Has anyone chosen this text also? I need to make my poster look unified without it being crowded..

I'm doing assassins, I want to make it simple but its hard with all the symbolism and history and the large cast.
What do you do about characters if you're doing a theoretical theatre company production?
