CH3COOH + H2O <---> CH3COO- + H3O+
H2SO4 + 2H2O ---> SO42- + 2H3O+

Acceptable?

hmm that would be right, you can always split ionisation of sulfuric acid into two parts XD

H2SO4 + H2O ---> HSO4- + H3O+
HSO4- + H2O ---> SO42- + H3O+

Paroissien: Yes
xeriphic: I don't think that is necessary as it is ionised once it has a charge.

EDIT: Are you sure xeriphic?

that's how I learnt it XD, diprotic acids

as for the other answer, I would think that's reasonable, considering I alway refer to the syllabus
