Breaking Bad - Vince Gilligan - TV: universally acclaimed, impeccably made, brilliant quotes from it, many different characters you can write about. About a low-payed chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and through the connection of a former student goes into the illegal drug trade producing the purest formula of crystal meth to gains funds for his cancer treatment and to provide his family with a sufficient inheritance. Shows the implications of moving into the world on family through the transformation of the individual. Creator said 'he wanted to turn Mr Chips into Scarface', from hero to anti-hero to villain, from bland chemistry teacher to ruthless drug kingpin in the matter of just one year (5 TV seasons).
In The Ghetto - Elvis Presley - Song: shows a perspective from poverty and how being born into a world can limit decisions.

I'm doing the film "Freedom Writers" By Richard Lagravenise as a related text to "The Story of Tom Brennan"
