ok... i think i will get a csp offer to mechanical engineering at usyd in the final round of offers and i have a dfee offer to aeronautical engineering at the moment,

so i think i will take the csp place if i can transfer to aeronautical after the first year

i got a uai of 86.95 and the cut off for the aeronautical csp is like 90.5 this year

wat do i need to get to secure a csp spot in second year, do i need like distinction average or wat

i heard it was harder to transfer from dfee to csp so thats why i decided to go to the mech one first and then transfer to aero and hopefully save 14k

i was also wanting to know do they go 50/50 or the higher one for uai and gpa

thanks

If its internal transfer then its purely GPA based and for most subjects it will require you to get credit average or better.

I would feel that they would like you to stay as a DFEE for the obvious reasons.

However you can also apply externally through UAC into the same Uni next year if you dont make the direct internal transfer which is 50/50 most of the time.
