I got an ATAR of 81.55, which I'm not over the moon about but not mad about.

I want to do computer engineering or computer science at either UNSW or USYD which both are over 90.

Now I've learnt that i could just do a B Planning or B Arts, made the cut-off, is it better to transfer internally or do a similar course at different uni and transfer externally?

Thanks guys.

An internal transfer will usually be easier, especially if you can get into the Bachelor of Science and then take Courses (subjects) that are required in the Computer Science or Computer Engineering programs. This way you won't waste any time.

Of course, you will need to get marks good enough to transfer no matter which way you go, and if you don't, you may be in a program which you don't want to remain in, so make sure you have a back-up plan as well.
