yer same, it was Q1 aswell i believe. Usually very very straight forward, no tricks.

Alot of poorer MX1 students would have seen the Sin^2x and straight away gone:
Cos2x=1-2sin^2x
...
sin^2x=1/2(1-cos2x) etc etc

When do the BOS notes for 2008 come out?
Mmm. That paper was so ridiculous. Im not sure when the notes come out. I would say april at the latest. Otherwise, its not really fair.

12 silly mistakes in a row. do i qualify for UAI disability points now?

yer, alot of the Questions were so unexpected. I was getting 80+/RAW on every other past paper, (HSC) but i dont think i would have got anywhere near that on 2008. I only got 47/50. U got like 49 didnt ya?

prolly aligned
I dont know waht i would have got RAW, yea i was talking HSC mark. Im most probably doing MX1 again this year, since ive been learning MX2 i think i could get ALOT higher on the mX1. That 2008 paper just didnt suit me, its not that i thouhg the Q were hard ( although some were challenging) its just that its format and the type of Q were completely different.

I think this years paper will be piss easy btw.. 2006-harder, 2007-easy as anything, 2008-harder than 2006, 2008-easier than 2007? haha

You can only really predict the 3u paper once you do the 4u/2u paper, because if they are hard, it will be easy and vice verse. E.g This year, 2u was insanely easy, and 4u wasn't that hard. It just felt different. From that, you could tell that 3u was a killer, and it was.

that'll suck. they should keep the HSC exams in a similar difficulty range.

Uh, I don't know if anybody answered your updated question or not, but I'll do it if you still need help. It's the same principle.

edit: nvm, just read you found the answer.
