Minorities...

Is that racist comment? I have no idea what context it was in... and personally, I will kick anyone in here that makes pro-racism posts... :D

It was really random and sort of 'putupon' tone when she said it - I guess she gets sick of toeing the BOS line too.

But all minority groups, when Morgan is only one Aboriginal woman?
(Everyone else we're doing is dead, white, male druggies) - makes me think I've gotta be on something to write well. ;)

It does get a bit repetitive.. The syllabi. 2 years of this in yr 9/10 history is enough for most.

The main thing that I'm annoyed about is that my teacher said how she was 'bloody sick' of 'minorities'... all of them.
damn right, and guess what? I did My Place for English in year 9  that's why i hated it more..
we are doing inner journey this year too.. but studying around the imagined corners (poems) anyone did that for their main text?

Why do I hate My Place?

-It's boring.
-It's all "Love me, love me, I'm Aboriginal."
-She thinks she's so bloody important. "I found out I was Aboriginal and then God visited me."
-It's boring.
-It's about something not many people would ordinarily care about.
-And finally, it's boring.

Just my two cents. :)

here here
kudos i agree
