Hi all

I'm a tad worried that i won't excel into the 90's for the UAI. I have completed my trials and my combined assessment and trial marks are as follows.

English Adv- 78- 8/36 (Rank)
Mathematics- 81- 12/45
Business Studies- 83- 4/26
Ancient History- 88- 6/26
Geography- 84- 2/15
Studies of Religion 1- 93- 2/81

If i study hard and get in the 90's for the HSC exams...is there a possibility to achieve 90+ UAI?

Thanks

wow, you finished your trials allready? and i thought OURS was early lol

i'm not pro on this whole UAI matteer, but your ranks arn't bad, and your overall uai can change defintaely during the HSC, so make sure you keep working hard and you'll be AOK to get in the 90s

also, have you tried using SAM?

Yeah, you should be able to head into the early 90's provided that you give a solid performance in the HSC exams. Your ranks aren't that bad at all. If you go to a selective, your ranks are actually pretty good at the moment.

I wouldn't worry at all about not getting above 90, try worrying about over 95 or something. If you just keep this rank up or get a bit more, I'm sure you'll be fine for the UAI! Cheers and good luck!!

ok, let me post some marks for my friend who got 90.10. If you feel that you can do better than these marks, then you'll have a chance at 90+. I think you can.

Those marks are aligned HSC marks.

It is hard to guess based on the marks you receive at school whether you can achieve enough to attain higher marks.

argo0986, it would actually be more easier to help us 'predict' your UAI if you provided trial marks only, and final rankings. Reason being, trial marks are better indicators of HSC exam performance than total assessment marks.
