i'm shitted off with the shitty discussion boards on webCT (1 Viewer)

they're a bitch to navigate, totally inefficient and useless to anyone who doesn't want to spend a week finding a relevant message.

all the lecturers get shitted off at people who can't use them. i consider myself relatively computer-literate, i've used discussion boards like this one for about 4 years (well, a skiing one for 4 years and this one for about a year), but fuck, i still struggle with webCT.

especially when part of the assessible component involves using it (eg: econ110). You don't want to blow up about it on there because all the lecturers know who you are.

Econ110 uses the WebCT template. And as a forum, it just doesn't work. It's awful to navigate.

Avatars isn't the important things. It's hard to follow replies to questions. They don't have thread threads. Especially if you only read unread.

i think it's a great idea, a great way to get help directly from the lecturers

but yes, they are SO hard to navigate around!! i hate them, it's too hard to find new replies, even to open a thread is too hard! if you don't untick you can open 10 at once if you like
