how many supplementary texts do i need
so far i have a novel
The curious incident of the dog in the nite time
and a movie
shrek
but do i need anymore
i only do advanced and were doing that polish poem guy

Most exams will ask you to refer to textS of your own choosing.

hence, 2 is enough to answer the question.

however, will your 2 and only 2 texts be revelant? or; Should you prepare another 2 just to make sure you have GOOD related material to talk about? that's up to you.

Personally, I prepared 4 for my HSC.

Your subscribed text, plus 2 addtional materials plus 1 stimulus text.

With the 2 additional materials, they have to be in different type of texts (ie you can't use 2 novels as you additional materials and preferably it should not be the same text type as your prescribed text.)

In most of the case, 2 is more than enough but as Eagles has said, sometimes you may find those additional materials don't fit in the essay very well, and you may want to have 1 or 2 extra as a back up.

i'm gonna go 4 three additional material texts just 2 be safe.. but u really only need 2.
