ok so i just started my hsc course and we are brainstorming ideas for our bow's. for those of you that are familiar with suicidegirls i wanted to do something alone the lines of that>alternative pin-up photography without entire nudity. so i mentioned it to my teacher and she got all concerned about the word 'suicide' and took it up with the head teacher. im just waiting for a response now! but im not sure if i should be worried.

but besides that i have no idea what else i could do to accompany my photography! any ideas??

oh yeah and for those who dont know..suicidegirls are basically a group of pierced, tattooed girls who get naked for the camera in a kind of old-school burlesque pin-up way. i guess it sounds like porn but its not! lol.

There shouldn't be a problem because suicide girls don't encourage suicide, and neither will your photography. Your work will basically be looking at the representations of the burlesque-like women and I don't see the problem with that. I don't think you have anything to be worried about, and they can't tell you that you're not allowed to do it because you are.

yeah I guess you should stay clear of the word suicide in your title and also if you use text in your work... but you could do that style of photography for sure and you should definitely include suicide girls as inspiration in your diary...
