so i've been with this guy for a while, click fantastically, he knows my family, funny blah blah its all perfect.
long story short i got way, way more trashed than him on saturday night and kissed a chick. im definately not into girls, have never done anything like that before and cant remember doing it (dont even have memory of getting into the taxi to go to the club/pub/?). so he saw, is hurt and wants space.. hes pretty confused about it all.
so where do i take things from here?
a. go over to his place during the week and try to talk things out a bit more or
b. give it until after easter and hope time will help..
time or talk?
in addition, i lost my handbag while we were out (2nd weekend in a row) so no phone til tomorrow at the earliest.

Tell him that you were practising for the surprise threesome you're giving him for his birthday.

But seriously, he can't be too perfect if he's insecure enough to get pouty over something small like that.

:lol:lol!

tell him you're sorry then give him some space. If you're that close then he should come round soon enough.

Lol, doesnt seem like that big a deal.. If i were him i'd just be a hell smart ass about it and crack heaps of lesbian jokes at your expense :p.. Ring him and ask if he wants to talk about it or whether he wants some space.. Thats the only way you'll find out what HE wants.. no use asking us.

Yeah you seemed to have it worked out. Just give him some time and call him. He'll get over it I'm sure of it

well, this is what my friend (assuming this is loz - jess from uni who youve met) said to her boyfriend
"AND WHERE WERE YOU"
seriously. way to be extremely oversensitive

If you dont remember what happened, who told you? And did they leave anything out of the story?

I just think it's strange for him to act this way if it was only a kiss..

well he told me the next morning. he saw me kiss her (as did his friend) and they went off, and someone said they saw me leave with this group of people.. ended up at crown casino completely drunk and confused, crying because i couldnt find him (or my bag/phone/dignity) and not realising he was in a completely different place altogether. not my finest hour.
thankfully security found me and got me into a taxi.. took going to 3 suburbs before i remembered which one i lived in. i was still very much intoxicated when i was ringing another taxi at 6am to take me to his place. that trip took 2 suburbs..
i cant put it down as anything other than getting really beyond drunk. usually i can handle it, but sometimes i do take it too far and this was clearly one of those times.

i'm going to give it a bit more time then try and talk it out. or hopefully he gets over it and there will be minimal talk.. please the second option..

We talking a kiss on the cheek or something you wouldn't do unless you were intoxicated?

Your best bet would be to confront him and apologize for what you did. A kiss is a kiss right? Harmless? That's not true, see it proves that you've broken the relationship trust. I know it's just a kiss, but he sees it as I would see it, and I see the situation as "If you're willing to kiss another individual, then what other things will you get up to during the relationship?".

If I was your guy, it would be over.

It's pretty obvious that he's milking this so that he can guilt you into doing anything he wants for the rest of your lives. He sounds like the sort of guy that would bring it up every time you have an argument.

You have a bad taste in men.
