im hoping/praying that this year's q10 will be slightly understandable..
otherwise im stuffed. :(

what kind of thing do u think they'll ask..the monthly repayments one from last year was alrite but that Hero and Saga one from 2002....AARGH!! :O

its likely to be the Hero and Saga type ;)
same exam committee

EDIT: but maybe they make a different one after the complain last year

well thats assuming u get questions 1 to 9 right :p

but i think a raw mark of about 80 gets aligned to 90

Some statistics to ease your nerves:

Every year, only around 5% of candidates get any marks at all for question 10. Meaning 95% of 2u maths students receive a 0/12!

The average number of students getting a full 12/12 for question 10 is 4. Out of every single student sitting the exam, a number which must be in the thousands, usually only around 4 individuals will achieve full marks.

u sure? there are more than 4 people in this forum which are likely to get full marks...

Thats what Im wondering.

It needs to be hard and undoable for the majority to differentiate between the higher end.

q 10s rnt too bad, actually last yr i found the q 9 worse than q 10, but hmm try as much as u can, get as many marks for it as possible and ull b fine...make sure ur 1-8 is real good

I must be one of those 4 then.. I got 12/12 in the trials, as did at least 2 others in my class.. wow what a neat class I must have.

Once again, our class saw at least 70% get at least 1 mark for that section. I think your statistics are a little off..

i got full marks for q 10 in the trials too, i just thought it was easier than the q10's they have in the hsc
