Hey guys, quick question .
Q9a)iii 2001 Paper
I dont understand how success one go from x/2 --> 1/2
If you could fill me in would be great.

from part (ii) solve for x using quadratic formula.. then sub that x value in x/2 it doesn't change to 1/2, just another way of writing x/2, since the x value is a fraction so it looks neater??
