Well it certainly became more appealing once my options were either take bonded place or don't study medicine. :p

But yeah, the deal's not so bad in terms of flexibility...well it is to a point, but not half as bad as people think.

have you guys ever thought bout doing some humanitarian work in a third world country?

Coz my plan is to get in to med, finish degree, do a couple years of clinical (internship, residency watever) and then do one year of Humanitarian medicinal work, then come back and start my specialiast training.

What do you guys think?

Haha. I would rather make a positive contribution to humanity, than have a flashy car to drive around. But then again, maybe after 5 to 6 years of studying, i'll change my mind.

Hehe what question Inasero? I asked no question that I should be ashamed of - no questions that make med students around the country cringe...

No, I'D not have asked such a question.

just about the vtac preferences do u put medicine and bonded medicine as different preferences?
i mean:

med at melb
med at monash
med at utas
bonded med at melb
bonded med at monash
bonded med at utas

is this correct?
thanks in advance!!
