i'm a '05er. it kind of freaked me out when i first looked at it, i admit. but i guess i tmade me more determined to do well in the hsc. but it is also a constant reminder of how little time there is until the hsc begins.

Haha, I remember thinking this. Then 2 weeks before the HSC, I realized that I should probably start cramming in that 'syllabus' thing I had ignored the whole year.

yeah year 12 certainly goes by fast, so glad it's over

then when the AOS English paper comes along, the counter's like -

THE HSC IS UPON YOU!!

for you 05'ers, don't worry that much, as you progress through Year 12 the whole concept of the HSC exams/UAI will seem less daunting..

ah! scariness!

'the hsc is upon you!' is much scarier but the fact that it's in countdown mode still sucks le penis

So I presume that if I tell you people that, on average, you have about 25,000 days left to live, some of them with dementia and senility, you'll all be rather scared?

Let's see, 287/25,000 - that's about 1 percent of your remaining life - the HSC that is. Feels good, doesn't it? :)
