Might as well post my half-yearlies results here since the other topic is nowhere to be seen :p
Generally, below my prediction, which is not good; maybe that's because teachers marked the exams harder.

ESL
My prediction was 50/60
Actual mark is 52/60 (1st/9)
Highest mark (exclude me) is 49/60

Chemistry
My prediction was 65/70
Actual mark is 63/70 (2nd/14)
Highest mark is 63 or 64 or 65 (I am not sure)

Physics
My prediction was 56/70
Actual mark is 54.5/70 (2nd/13)
Highest mark is 60.5/70

Business Studies
My prediction was 65/70
Actual mark is 62/70 (1st/30 something)
Highest mark (exclude me) is 54.5/70

Mathematics Extension 2
My prediction was 50/57
Actual mark is 47.5/57 == CAN'T BELIEVE IT I COME LAST == (equal 2nd out of 3)
Highest mark is 50/57

Can't even want to think about my Math Extension 1 result...

Congrats to all who have excellent results.:D

3u - 49/53 [highest 51]
4u - 45/52 [highest 49]
english - AOS: 11/15 [highest 12.5], Mod A: 13/20 [highest 19]
phys - theory: 43/50 [highest 44], prac: 22/27 [highest 24]
chem - theory: 46/50 [highest 47], prac: 33/36 [highest unknown]
econ - 69/70 [highest - me! ><]

donno about ranks. reckon a top 5 for 3u, top 5 for 4u, 1st for econ, bottom something for english, 2nd for phy & chem.

once again all silly mistakes, lack of working out and skipped questions. for phys and chem, donno why i got them wrong. for econ, definitely over the moon. for english, frk it. really disappointed [despite improvements] coz i spent ages on that.... =.=

My half-yearly results:

English: 76%
Mathematics: 76%
Modern History: 72%
Business Studies: 80%
Visual Arts: 88%

Overall I'm happy with my marks seeing as though their all generally high 70's... I didnt really try tooo hard these exams, rather casual about them really, so I'm psyched to study hard for trials where I hope I can bring my marks all up around the high 80's :D

Question::: Someone in my 2unit maths class dropped to general 2day, after failing their 1/2 yearlies.... Do u reckon they are screwed... and do you think it is fair that they will recieve a estimate based on their next assesment and the trial ???

got back biology today. i'd rather not have known. 79%. :( it's not baaad, but it's like almost a 20% let-down from my last assesment. plus my rank is now hanging around 7th, down from 2nd. arrgh!! well at least there's time to improve :) :)

I got Mathematics Extension 2 back today...............
I got 87/120, highest was 98/120, rank fifth....
Man, that was such a hard test....marks lost from inability to work out some questions PLUS shitloads of silly mistakes.............grrrrrrrrrrrr..............
What frustrates me now, is that when my teacher was going through the exam paper, she made all those hard questions look soooooooooo easy................omg
Guess some exam nerves kicked in there............lol

I am pleased with my HSC assessments to date.
My results for my half-yearlies were:

Eng (Standard)- 14/15 (ranked 2/31), coming 2nd so far
Maths- 55/56 (ranked 2/113), coming 2nd so far
Eco- 29/30 (ranked 1/52), coming 1st so far
Bio- 44/48 (ranked 2/26), coming 2nd so far
Legal- 23/25 (ranked 2/23), coming 3rd so far

Going to try and aim for 95%+ for all my subjects during trial HSC, just cant wait until HSC is over, can bludge and be lazy for 3-4 months until uni starts, oh, and schoolies of course. :D
