how to make italics obvious (1 Viewer)

title I guess, how do you make it obvious, if it did italics in blue pen and then rest in black would that make it more obvious when scanned

Yeah, but when someone is reading it at 1am with a cup of coffee I don't think they will notice a small change of incline (or do they?)

highlighter or underline!
Is highlighting the accepted way, as in, the ways marker will recognise italics? Any specific colour they like, or one that show ups better when scanning? Would a thin pink line be ok, or would you have to really highlight the whole word from top to bottom to make it obvious when they scan

Do you mean as in making it stand out or as in you have to use italics (for a quote or something?)

I would only use highlighting/underline to make a particular work stand out.

I need italics to show interior monologue of a non-central character in a creative, will using blue create a distinction from black, when scanning?
