2005's HSC is "To what extent has studying the concept of physical journeys expanded your understanding of yourself, of individuals and of the world?"
Understanding of individuals is easy, cos thats in pretty much every text and every question you answer, personal growth, etc.
Understanding of the world, I guess you could sort of combine with the above one, personal growth leads to a better understanding of your place in the world. Some info on how to respond to this part would be helpful.
Understanding of yourself is that hard bit.. are you meant to explicitly state how you've learnt through studying the journeys? Perhaps referencing that, for example, the vivid imagery of a particular text helps you put yourself in the protagonist's position, vicariously experiencing the journey and thus learning similar lessons? Would that be the best approach?
Help would be much appreciated. If it matters, Im doing physical journeys, Skrzynecki.
