I need a rough idea for how much it costs to "reformat" the computer AND how much it costs to buy 40GB. i dont know much about this things so i hope you understand me

40 GB Segate HDD will cost you aroun less than 100
so your better off grabbing a 80 gb which is around 140 bucks

Seagate Barracuda 7,200rpm (2MB cache)

Anymore than $110 for an 8MB cache and that's getting away with murder.

depends how much mem u got rite now and how fast ur current hdd is,

hdd is a good investment ...

That answers half the question, how much memory do you have?

If you have 2GB free, from a 4GB disk, I suggest you purchase a new hard disk.

Preferrably between 80-120GB.

If not, 40GB will do.

hmmm i dont think they made 72k 4 gigs hdd

so lets go with purchasing the hdd first becoz the hdd is crucial speed performance more so noticable compared to memory, as memory just allows more multi tasking, but obviously u need new ram, seeing u onlyt got 64 megs, im gonna assume ur using SD RAM, which isnt as prevalent as DDR, so go to www.msy.com.au, and look at their price list for 256 MB SD-RAM

We work at Microsoft, i'm Bills son, Huy's my cousin
