how much does raw external mark go up (1 Viewer)

hi guys. i was just wondering, for extension 2 maths, what does a 50% in RAW EXTERNAL mark (in the actual HSC exam) go up to for your "HSC Mark"???

is it 60%? 70%?

no im talkin about if i got 50% in the actual HSC right, how much would it go up to for my "HSC mark"?? :) (not assessment mark)

depending on the difficulty of the hsc exam your mark is moderated usually very varying and hard to judge. e.g last years 3u paper was said to be hard hence it was scaled up quite higher than normal.

50% is still considered to be relatively good, so getting 50% raw for your hsc mark would probably get aligned to around 75% or thereabouts.

Any answer is a guess. The raw marks have only been released on a few occasions to individuals but never widespread enough for people to know.

At this stage even the Board of Studies does not know the answer as it isn't determined until after the HSC has been sat and marking has started.

all i can say is that just do you best in the exam and not worry what marks aligns to what in the hsc.
