Yeah, 800 words is pretty cool.

This is always the order I do all exams:

First I go multi choice to just help kick me off. Then I go to the extendeds because I start to write like crazy bullshit, which usually carries over to the short answers which I'm not especially good at.

I reckon 800 is bare minimum. Write as much as possible, given you have the time.

Write as much as it takes to get the question answered to the best of your ability.

how many pages is 800 words? i write 5-7 pages in eco essays

oh and I'll do the exam in order, i find it better that way. I try to get MC and short answer done in 1st hour, and leave 1hr each for the essays.

about 1500-1700 depending on the time. If you get through multies and shorties in good time you can easily have 2 hours for the essays

Depends on how much of the 800 words is bs and how much is sustained answer of the question.

I always go: Extended 1, Short Answer, Extended 2, MC

Some of those exemplar responses are crazy, they go on for about 20 pages.

Me too.

I usually spend an hour on each essay, and get about 1500-1700 words for each

Don't worry about word count, just include as many graphs as you can. ;)

^^ lol.

800 would have to be the absolute bare minimum. those board of studies books which contain student answers have them at like 12 pages... approx 5-7 words per line, which is like 110 words per page, thus like 1400 words.

however, some high range ones are like 8 pages... so yes its about quality but in eco your expected to have a high quantity of quality (if u get me)..

id say get past the 1000 word mark.. its always a good impression when the response is tied up with a piece of string..

for those freaks who fit 15 words on a line (somehow)... thats like 300 words on a page :S

in that case you should have at least 4 pages (especially considering you would leave a line for each paragraph)..
