there are a range of study methods. The way i do it is

- bio and chem after each lesson review the work that relates to the syllabus and then answer the dot point and revise revise revise
- maths just do lots of questions ASK IF YOU DONT KNOW
- eng study essay structures for specific texts, right now im studying the essay model for year 12 AoS, module A and starting module B
- jap revise over sentence structures, vocab etc

you can always record them and keep on listening to them while you sleep.. :)

If you do science subjects make up a dot point summary book;
Get the syllabus and answer each point as a question.

Maths just do loads of questions

English, make sure you know your texts really well, and do practise quetions from past papers, etc.

And always ask if you're not sure.

Hmmm I think I just repeated everything kadlil said, but anyway...

The following links might help.

How to un-stress
Study
To people who got killer UAIs

Check out the school and General HSC forums.

My advice is:
  • English - Practise essays under strict time limit, and ask your teacher/s to mark and comment.
  • Maths - Do a lot of past papers, practise especially before exams, and make formula cards. Dig up challenging questions from textbooks/notes.
  • Sciences - Also do past papers. Make sure you understand the concepts.
  • Languages - Practise speaking with friends, write a diary in that certain language, practise other forms of writing and speaking, listen to songs in that language, or read books.
Good luck with your exams. :)
