Rank: 30-40 (Is that good?)
Teachers: A lot of them are at least twenty years past retirement, and those that have retired keep turning up again and the majority of the young teachers can't teach (Hate my physics teacher).
But some of them are good I guess, probably better than some schools.
Resources: Are okay, except the school keeps wasting money on flat screen tv's that show pictures of students around the school?
Performance: Last year was horrible(dropped 10 places) but the year before we had two people tie for dux with 99.95.
Cohort: IMO there are some really really intelligent people.. but after that everyone is else is really average.

Probably around 6-7/10

Name: Not saying this
Rank: Ranges from 25-50
Teachers: All faculties are relatively good except the Science faculty which is utter rubbish.
Resources: Generally have a lot of resources but the quality is lacking.
Performance: Depends a lot on the year, some years get to the mid 20s and other years get in the mid 40s.
Your Cohort: Teachers say it's one of the good cohorts compared to the past but personality-wise, I think we have a terrible grade.

Your grade could not be nearly as bad as some of the people there are in ours.

Pattrician Brothers'
Rank:late 300s
Teachers:All of them good except the english teachers and a few others
Resources:Excellent, Airconditioning in every room and great sports fields and shizz
Performance: Sporting wise very good, very shit academically
Cohort: The top people did really good, we got a lot of people in the 90s for a shit ranked school. Shit rank cause we are anchored down by the footy players.

General: Excellent 10/10 wouldn't go to any other school

Uni is 0.5/10

I think there's pressure on your cohort :p because I bet the principal expects a repeat of last year (or an even better performance).
I'd think the principal would never like to see a repeat of the 2009 cohort.

If white kids were kicked out, we'd be in top 15, maybe even top 10 i'd say.

I don't think we'll do as well. We have a stronger top end than their top end but I think on average we are worse...

Rank: top 5
Teachers: apart from a couple of notoriously *bad* teachers, excellent, so... 9/10?
Resources: could be better. seriously. 7/10
Performance: not too bad ;P 9/10
Cohort: top end is tank as usual, but as a whole, a pretty mediocre grade. 7/10
Overall: I used to hate my school, since I never wanted to go there in the first place. It ain't so bad though after all. 8/10!

Rank: Top 10 (I think)
Teachers: Pretty chill, some are really horrible though (we have one racist english teacher) and our principal sucks 8/10
Resources: Canteen food is horrible, the rest is pretty good but could be better if the school stopped wasting money on plasma TV's that don't display anything/people don't look at 7/10
Performance: Generally in 90s, heaps of all-rounders
Cohort: Really excited to go there at first but now it's OK. The people are generally nice but really competitive. Heaps of smarties unfortunately I'm not really one of them :p

7/10

I wouldn't be surprised if the 2011 cohort's rank would be Tech's peak rank for the next decade.
But, who knows what can happen.

Name: Rather not say...
Rank: mid 500s
Teachers: Out of the six teachers I have, I'd say two are competent
Resources: ...
Performance: About 3 students got an ATAR in the 90s last year...
Your Cohort: Known as the dumb cohort, there is no competition. I'm apparently one of the smarter kids in my cohort although I think I'm average.

Rank: 300's
Teachers: The English and Science teachers are quite decent. In general, the teachers are very nice and helpful but most of them don't really push us to work hard. (7/10)
Resources: Okay, though there are quite insufficient resources in the HSIE department. (6/10)
Performance: Well, it's obviously not a very academic one compared to the selectives. There are only 7 to 8 students getting an ATAR/UAI of 90's each year, with nearly no Band 6s in the humanities. (5/10)
Your Cohort: English (6/10) (expecting 2-3 Band 6s in Advanced)
Math (7/10) (expecting 3 Band 6s in MX2)
Science (6/10) (expecting 5-6 Band 6s in all sciences)
Humanities (6/10) (expecting 4 Band 6s in Legal and 2 Band 6s in Eco)
Overall: I would say 7/10
