How do I capture a screen from a movie (.MPG .WMV etc.)? (1 Viewer)

r u sure print screen doest work and then just pasting it in paint?

Yeh, I've tried the 'print screen' button, it doesn't work, it just turns black.

Try Windows Movie Maker.

Import and Play the clip.
On the right hand side there is a Picture Icon.
Click It when you want to capture the frame.

Print screen works with Windows XP !! i always do it !!

u must be using Windows 98 or sumshiet !

also check the versoin of your media playa !!
could b old.. if u update it to the newest version.. it may work !

To capture and save images from movies in Windows Media Player. Press Ctrl + I.
The default output is in jpg but you can select from many formats.

This question has been asked before i believe.

Would just be different overlay settings.. what works on one computer might not work on another.
