my school did the CSSA trials. I didnt do too bad considering we havent had our teacher since the start of last term. Got 79%, only 11/15 in the MC, and for astro, which we havent had our teacher for at all, i got 18/25, which really shoulda been 21, but i did somethin really silly. GRRRR

omg wtf i got 55% and came 3rd the highest was 64% ¬_¬
The lowest in the year was apparently 9% :O and thats out of 26 people in the year that does physics. We got some weird customised trials paper.. (ie. the teacher made it up)
I did heaps of silly mistakes in calculations:
square root of 16 is 8 :|
1/4 - 1/9 = 1/36 LOL thats partly because i had an english exam just previously and got messed up :\

Well you just had to go and outshine me didn't you :p I got 98%

We were supposed to do the independent trials, but they didn't show up, so we did the 2003 independent instead. If only I had done independent past papers for practice  lol but I'm really happy with my mark cos I came out of the exam really upset cos I though I failed!

i got 65%... i still havn't seen my exam so i have no idea where i went wrong..

but im not complaining.. considering i only studied 2 modules.. and did the third the morning before the exam (as quick as possible)... oh and we weren't tested on the option...

by the way... we did the second half of the third module in 4 periods.. and today we finished our option which we've only been doing for 2 weeks..

so basically i'm lost... lol...

well done on ur great marks guys...

it seems 74%.. is quite common, although obviously it's just a coincidence...

well done on both the 99% and 98%...

lol... how can u end up with 98% and think u've failed... it doesn't make sense...
maybe u felt u didnt perform as well as u expected.. but come on... 98%.... lol

... nywas...all i can say is good luck in the HSC...

oh yeh and 65% was 2nd... lol 1st was 96%

highest mark in the hsc last yr was 98 (and that is pretty scaled so they didnt actually get that high in the hsc)

so how are mmm and libbster getting 99 and 98..?

did your teacher follow the marcking scheme of the test designers (if it wasnt school exam.)

what is this? so depressing people getting 99 in a physics test.
I get 3/4 just because my answer wasnt well written (all the information required is in there and correct) they just didnt like the flow of it.

I seriously dont trust people n their mark posing on forums.
unless mmm comes first in the state.

If you had a teacher like mine who deducted marks for missing out tiny pieces of information then it would be close to impossible to get 99 in any test, but then again each teacher/test is different. Also you have to remember in the HSC there is no arguing with/persuading markers for extra marks, so if youre on 96 then chances are in school you may be able to gain some extra marks from errors and such, but in the HSC you cant do that.

Then again those 98 and 99'ers on here may just be freaks :)
