For our assessment we have to make a motor using a hodson motor kit, does anyone know if having unequal coil windings on each side affects the results?

I'm not sure how you would obtain unequal coil numbers if you are making the single coil motr. The biggest trouble is making sure the commutator is orientated correctly and makes firm contact.

Lol im actually making a double coil motor.
