Just a question:

Do we think it was inevitable that Hitler was appointed Chancellor in January 1933?

Was it luck, good management, or a bit of both? Were there any other viable options?

What do you think?

i reckon hindenburg made him chancellor because he was scared shitless of being killed or forced to step down

When democracy started to crumble in Germany, it started to become an inevitability. When they starting using presidential powers to rule their "democratic" society (the presidential powers were in essence the power to dictate) then you could see that the Weimar Republic would fail.
