I was curious who had tastes that ran to this genre?
An experiment of sorts really.
I love them! No particular author - though I must say Jane Feather did an absolutely awful job of the Romance in The Glass Slipper but a fantastic account of The French Revolution, giving not only historical facts but also adding something more to the cold hard facts. Her characters however had no ... zing! No spark! No chemistry! Horrid romance really.
So am I right in my conclusion that this is a near waste of a thread?
