i haven't been to boredofstudies.org for ages! anyways, my first stop is always the reading room
After reading Great Expectations a while back, I was in the library and decided to pick up David Copperfield, which can be contrasted to the former. Pip is a pauper, whilst Davy comes from a wealthy background, but as we get deeper into David Copperfield, the books seem so much alike!!! I wonder why Dickens made these two books so similar... how can they each be so great when they are just copies of eachother?
this is only my assumption of now, i'm only one quarter of my way through. But does anyone else feel the same way ?
