has anyone got one of the new excel area of study series?? its really new, published in 2009 and specialises in one of the prescribed texts for AoS
well i got the one for The Crucible and gain prodigious benefit from it. it tackles the 3 sections of the entire paper 1 that we will ve to do in hsc and also contains a whole chapter simply focusing on concept of belonging. but what blows me away is the concise and useful interpration of 3 texts (yes 3 , crucible and 2 related materials, in my case, film good night and good luck and fiction 1987) in terms of the concept of belonging. it actually encourages u to use those 3 texts for the extended response u will do in practice and exam in near future.
finally, there is a sample response juxtaposing the 3 texts and some tips on developing central thesis and a list of related materials u could choose from
so i just thought i would recommend this life saver to anyone who is actually still contemplating in pain as to what texts to use
