I icycloud Guest Oct 22, 2005 #2 Just remember this rule: logab = ln(b) / ln(a) and you can't go wrong! With your example, log925 - log35 = ln(25) / ln(9) - ln(5) / ln(3) = ln(5^2) / ln(3^2) - ln(5)/ln(3) = 2ln(5)/2ln(3) - ln(5)/ln(3) = 0 # As simple as that!
