HI

im just wondering... for a biology prac task, do you have to know everything on the right hand side of the syllabus, or is it just the first and second hand investigations youve done?

It can be a bit of both. For a biology prac test, my school usually has 1 main prac but then they can try to cover as many small dot points as possible that relates to the prac worth like 1 or 2 marks.

cause for some dot points, a bit of theory e.g- types of bacteria ( methanogens etc) is incorporated into the dot points... do you think theyd ask me questions regarding those dot points?

it's possible, look at your notification and try to suss out your teacher it's what my friends and I did for our chemistry prac.
Obviously they're going to deny everything, but you can usually tell by their tone/attitude if you're spot on.
