Hey, so for rates of change, to find the rate of change after a time period if you have the quantity can you just differentiate and then sub in the time, or do you have to use (change in quantity)/interval of time?

Rate of change AFTER a period of time means the rate of change at that instant in time. So its a calculus question.
Rate of change OVER a period of time means the average rate of change, so the second method.
