The expected payout on each game is

So, the profit on each game should average $3.50 - $2.85 = $0.65

So, expected profit on 200 games = 200 x $0.65 = $130

If he is paying $3.50 per game and is getting a payout of $2.85, wouldn't that be a loss of $0.65 instead of a profit?

He's being paid $3.50 and paying out $2.85 on average, so he is profiting

Oh yh, I see my mistake. I thought he was playing the game and had to pay $3.50, but he owns it, so people pay him $3.50 instead to get average returns of $2.85.

Could someone pls help with c (part three)
So with c), you obviously have to use part b), as stated in the question. So now, you have the lengths of the 3 sides of the triangle (1000m, 2000m and whatever x is from the previous part; MAKE SURE to use the exact value of x though). Using the cosine rule, given 3 sides of a triangle, you can find any wanted angle. So in this case, you would find angle OBA. To then find the bearing of O FROM B (be careful with the wording; it can throw some students off), it would be 180 + (magnitude of angle OBA).
