Hello,

I really want to study medicine, but unfortunately my Umat score was not good enough. I applied to unis' in NSW and JCU but I didn't receive any interview offers.

1. What is the easiest pathway and in what uni is it easier to transfer after a year of health Science degree?

2. What is the lowest Atar that you can receive a second round interview at James cook university?

3. What is the pathways into medicine at JCU?

4. What is the most effective way to prepare for Umat and what is the best material to practice from?

5. For each section of Umat, what is the best way to prepare and score a really high Percentile like 92-98 Percentile.

Thanks,

1.med science then med. UNSW/JMP/UWS/JCU
2.It changes every year but i'd say 98+ (Not many school leavers get second round interviews, its mostly for non standards)
3.just keep applying till you get in? What do you mean?
4.5. No idea, I failed section 2 which brought down my overall score.

1. You can't transfer into medicine unless you're UNSW. Even then there are requirements.
2. High!
3. Apply? Interview. Offer.
4. Self practice if not get a 1 to 1 tutor.
5. Up to individuals.
