i want to gain an atar between 80-90. my school is ranked like 400 and is just full of idiots who dont even want to try. im throwing everything i got at the HSC and are having some pretty decent results. will my school ranking drag my atar down that bad?

There is nothing you can do to remedy the situation of your peers if they are so unwilling to work, so just study and aim for rank one in your subjects so you are not dragged down by these individuals.
